TOUR OF THE STARS

Reservations are limited depending on the tour selection (Tour of the Stars, Shower of Stars, or Star Party Nites).  Advance reservations of at least 48 hours recommended.  Since the observatory is out-of-doors, it is recommended that you dress appropriately (pants, jacket, shoes).  For information on weather conditions forecasted for the day of your tour, please visit   http://mkwc.ifa.hawaii.edu/uhmetintro.cgi.  For information regarding moon phases and rising and setting times please click here.  Starting and end times for each program varies but generally gets underway at 7:30 nitely except for Shower of the Stars which depends on the predicted peak period of the meteor shower being observed.  Please call reservations at (808) 398-6933 or email astrotourshawaii@hotmail.com for additional information and directions to the observatory.
